Gerald L. Forseth Architect Ltd offers prime and architectural full service consulting for standard and unique medium-sized projects. Through the principal architect, the firm has experience in program planning and organization, site surveying and building evaluation, analysis of program and schematic design, design development, specification and drawing production, and contract documents development. The firm's largest project is the international award winning million Court of Appeals for the Government of Alberta.

In 1995 it received awards from the City of Calgary for the alteration to the historic Ashdown Building (location of the Canadian Art Gallery) and the historic Dominion Bank Building on Olympic Plaza (location of Teatro Restaurant). The majority of it's consulting work in the past two years has involved construction cost values between $100,000 and 500,000 with Clients in both the public and private sectors.

THE STAFF

The firm was established by Gerald Forseth in 1976. During his 20 years of practice the staff has fluctuated with the economic times and office workload. At its largest the firm employed 13 full time staff.

Today, the firm is small and relies on experienced personnel contracted on an as-needed basis. Currently, Gerald Forseth is principal architect / designer responsible for the project, specification writer, job captain and client contact person. James Faulkner is the firms' office manager and administrator with experience in specific project administration. Contract personnel and talents are available to provide the following services to the firm:
